Waterford AC Half Marathon 2025 (29th Nov)

On a dry crisp November morning on Saturday 29th, the Waterford AC Half Marathon took place on the road network adjacent to the SETU Waterford University Campus. The race started and finished on the club, with the spectacular sight of over 2,000 athletes lining up across the track and extending for over 100m down the finishing straight. The runners spread out quickly as the course brought them through the surrounding road network near to the university campus on the outskirts of the city. Some rolling hills and sharp corners tested the runners who included Timmy Mescall from Mullingar Harriers. Timmy was very pleased with his run, coming home well up in the first 200 runners in a fine time of 1 hour 32 minutes and 27 seconds [MO’S].
