Noel McManus Memorial Run 2024 (29th Mar)

The annual Noel McManus Memorial Run took place on Friday morning 29th March around the Leitrim village of Mohill, with start and finish in the beautiful grounds of Lough Rynn Castle estate, there was a choice of 3 races, a 5k, 10k and half marathon. Noted for its picturesque scenery and rolling hills in the countryside around the village, the looped course with lots of tough hills has three distinct circuits depending on the distance athletes participate in. The 188 participants in the 10k event were led home by Mullingar Harrier’s Enda Seery, who finished in a time of 39 minutes 22 seconds, giving him a 90 second advantage over the second placed runner [MO’S].
