Washington Indoor Preview 2022 (15th Jan) – Claire Fagan

Claire Fagan competed for the first time in the purple and white colours of the University of Portland (Oregan) at the Washington Indoor Preview at the Dempsey Indoor Arena in Seattle (Washington) on Saturday 15th January. The events are a series of timed races and Claire sat with the leaders for the early laps of her heat of the 3,000m but then burst to the front and quickly pulled ahead to win comfortably in a new PB of 9:46.00. Claire is just back from injury, so this a very encouraging performance in a very competitive race and will give her a great boost of confidence for the Collegiate indoor season ahead.
