Malaga Half Marathon 2026 (15th Mar)

The annual Malaga Half Marathon on Sunday morning 15th March attracted 10,000 runners to Europe’s oldest city. The race takes place through the city streets and out by the seaside with spectacular views of the ancient city on one side mixed with a view across to the Mediterranean Sea on the seafront section of the race. With temperatures rising quickly to 20degC, a slight breeze was a welcome relief for the runners, including two members of Mullingar Harriers. Mary Stuart was delighted with her run, placing third in her master category and finishing in a time of 1:38:54, with Joan Hickson running the race in 1:47:23.
