MAAC T&F 2019 (5th May)

Another European u/23 T&F Standard for Jack O’Leary

Making his track debut over the distance, Jack O’Leary competing for Iona College put in a strong performance over 10,000m at the Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference (MAAC) Outdoor T&F Championships held in Monmouth University in New Jersey on Sunday 5th May, finishing second in 29:21.96, which is over 50 seconds inside the European u/23 T&F qualification standard. This is the second Euro u/23 standard that Jack has achieved, to add to his 5,000m standard achieved a little over two weeks ago, and it shows that he is really coming into form for the outdoor track season.
