Loughborough International Meeting 2019 (19th May)

Excellent season opener by Shane Fitzsimons

Shane Fitzsimons had his opening race of the track season over 1,500m at the Loughborough International held at Loughborough University on Sunday 19th May, which was a match between England, Scotland and Wales, plus international guests. Shane’s time of 3:45.80 was an excellent start to the season. While this time is marginally slower than his personal best of 3:43, it is his fastest season opener by a considerable margin and augurs very well for the season ahead.
