Leinster 10 Mile Championship 2019 (22nd April)
In contrast to last year’s wet, cold and miserable conditions, the “Battle of Clontarf” 10 Mile in St. Anne’s Park, Raheny on Easter Monday 22nd April took place in perfect Summer-like conditions. The event, expertly hosted as always by Raheny Shamrocks AC, incorporated the Leinster 10 Mile Championship and numbers were well up on last year, with nearly 450 finishers. Patrick Muldoon put in a strong performance and finished well up in 17th place just outside the hour mark in 60:34, to place a very creditable 5th place in his master category. Also competing and finishing well up was Pauric Brady (66:29) and only for a third man, Mullingar would definitely have been competing for team medals.
