Husky Classic 2022 (12th Feb) – Claire Fagan

5,000m PB for Claire Fagan

Having set a PB for 3,000m on the unusual indoor 300m flat track at the Dempsey Indoor Arena in Seattle (Washington) four weeks previously, Claire Fagan (Portland University) returned to same Seattle venue for the Husky Classic on Saturday 12th February to run over the longer 5,000m distance. Leading for most of the last two kilometres, Claire raced hard to the finish to place a close second in 16:32.08, a new personal best time.
