Dunshaughlin 10k 2022 (18th June)

 

It was cool and dry in Dunshaughlin on Saturday 18th June, perfect conditions for the 825 participants in the ever popular Dunshaughlin 10k, one of the best 10k races on the fixture list that draws the very best road race runners from across the Country eager to race on a fast course that is guaranteed to give fast times. Finishing well up just outside the top thirty and continuing to enjoy a great run of form was James Keegan in a new PB of 32 minutes 33 seconds, followed by Eddie Newman (35:15) first in his master category, Eoin Clarke (35:28) a new PB, Maurice Looby (35:31) making a very welcome return to racing, Evan McCormack (35:31), Alan Crowley (36:10), Johnny Morrissey (37:00), Sinead Whitelaw (37:05) twelfth woman, Aine O’Reilly (37:33) second in her master category, Pauric Brady (38:19), Stephen Naughton (38:26) fourth in his master category, Kieran Nolan (38:32), Enda Seery (38:58), Michelle Bohan (39:29), Amy Mahony (39:45), Glenda Shaw (40:56), Ann Hall (42:48), Robin Jackson (43:25) and Aidan O’Donoghue (53:56). With individual prizes for Eddie Newman and Aine O’Reilly only, it was great to learn that the women team of Sinead Whitelaw, Aine O’Reilly and Michelle Bohan finished 3rd Club and they were delighted to take home a well deserved prize for their efforts.
