International duty for Maurice Looby

UPDATE Thursday 19th August – Unfortunately, Maurice had to withdraw due to illness, which is a huge disappointment for him. Everyone at the Club wishes him the very best in his recovery and given his abilities, there’s no doubt but there will be future International opportunities for him.

Congratulations to Maurice Looby on being selected on the five man Irish team to compete at the 100k Home International against teams from England, Scotland and Wales to take place at Mondello Park in Naas, Co. Kildare on 21st August. The last time Maurice ran in an Irish singlet was in 2015 at the World 100k Championships in the Netherlands and he is justifiably both delighted and honoured to be selected to represent Ireland in competition again.
